With a Masters degree in English literature and a background in English teaching and editing, Chris Benge has helped many authors and publishers bring their manuscripts up to publishing standard. His text proofing focus is complemented by Diane's experience in writing for and editing a national bimonthly magazine for more than a decade: she focuses on the clarity and readability of text. Together they offer a comprehensive service in manuscript preparation.
In addition to this, Kapiti Print Media has designed covers and text for a number of self-publishers, including prolific NZ social historian and novelist David McGill, local and family historians, children's writers, and various New Zealand organisations. They also create websites to assist publishers to promote and sell their work online.
Publishing a book is a great adventure and labour, almost like giving birth. Chris and Diane love helping writers to create in book form what they have lived with and dreamed about for so long.
